Dave Mayer

Dave Mayer (David Mayer) is a REALTOR® and licensed associate broker with Hartsock Realty in Lima, Ohio, and a founding partner of the LV5 Real Estate Team. Born and raised in Lima, he brings 20 years of sales, customer-service, and property-management experience to buyers, sellers, and investors across Allen County and West Central Ohio.

Before real estate, Dave spent two decades in sales, customer service, and property management — a background that means he has seen the housing business from the operations side, not just the showing side. He moved into real estate with Hartsock Realty because the firm shares the value he refuses to compromise on: always do what is best for the client.

Dave is a Lima native. He knows the neighborhoods, the schools, the employers, and the people — the kind of street-level knowledge that tells you which block is quietly improving and what a fair price really looks like. For families relocating to the area, that local fluency is the difference between finding a house and finding the right one.

He works with buyers, sellers, and investors through the entire process — home valuation, financing, negotiating, inspections, and closing — and represents every client with professionalism, honesty, and hard work. As an associate broker, Dave holds licensing and training beyond the standard agent requirements.

Together with Jeff Dulmage, Dave co-founded the LV5 Real Estate Team to give West Central Ohio a modern, client-first alternative: real local agents, backed by Hartsock Realty, with marketing and responsiveness the national portals can’t match.
